We had a great journey for Xak’s first birthday – sixteen hundred miles or so. The dog and the baby were good in the car, and we had a great time.

Xak’s Grandpa stopped by for a few days – long enough to increase the daily intake of applesauce tenfold!

We spent Easter with the K’s (the food was soooooo good).

Mommy’s nephew Zac came for a visit. His sister Rachel came over to the house to see her brother (and us as well). Zac and Xak got along real well…it was just the name calling that was a problem, so, for two days, Xak became “Little Xak”.
