Bear Alarm
You have to admit, if you want to wake up a bear, cranking up 9 vacuum cleaners would do the job. Per Xak, most of the other kids answered “scream in his ear”….
American Dance Festival HQ
Both Nova and Xak are taking classes at the American Dance Festival. I hope they are still at it when the fest begins this summer. It would be ten kinds of awesome to get to hang out behind the scenes with the prima donnas…here they are in the main studio on the second floor, overlooking the quad at Duke University.
The Eno in Winter
There’s something very beautiful about going to the river in the winter. It’s quiet – we were the only people there. Like, in the whole park. You can see details of the river bank and surrounding land that are obscured once the vegetation grows in. Highly recommended…
