The high today was an entirely reasonable 86, so we went to the river.
Xak and Daddy built a rock guy:
Mommy and Nova went for a dip:
And just to prove there’s a reason to have a sign at the river park that says “Don’t hurt the snakes – they aren’t poisonous” this little fella stuck his head up from the water flora to have a look at us:
If you have contributed to Xak’s train track set, this is your payoff.
I found this a few minutes ago. Let me be very clear – I did not help with this.
And it circuits properly in both directions on both loops. Incredible.

Poor Nova is teething again…drools constantly. I don’t know what Xak’s problem is…
We stopped by the Craven Allen Gallery to have our photo made with Henry, the enormous (and enormously patient) puppy.
